Dennis is a native of Richmond. His formative years were spent living in the Fan District before moving to Henrico County where he graduated from Hermitage High School. Afterward, he went on to receive his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2006, he started a second career in real estate after working for thirty-four years as a counselor and ultimately, director of the Virginia Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Vision Impaired. Dennis’ experience in working with people and extensive knowledge of Richmond makes him particularly qualified in assisting clients with their real estate needs. He loves sharing his knowledge of Richmond with first-time homebuyers, as well as newcomers to the area. His wife, Sara, is the owner of Sheppard Street Antiques, located in Richmond’s premier shopping district, Carytown. It’s a great shop for finding unique home furnishings and accessories, garden items, and all sorts of different, special gifts. Dennis has been a long time resident of the Northside area, having lived in both the Bellevue and Ginter Park neighborhoods. He is active in the Lewis Ginter Residents Association and his home was featured on the 2007 Ginter Park Home Tour. Dennis has received his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES) certifications and looks forward to working with buyers and sellers and meeting all their real estate needs in a caring and trustworthy manner.
